Starting a public learning trail

Growth edge: systems thinking, craft, taste

Today I set up a growth system alongside Life of AI.

Private docs track weak points with evidence, a reading/watching queue, and a learning log. Public Field Notes will carry the takeaways — what I actually learned from books, articles, and videos, and which growth edge they touch.

First two books, on purpose as a pair: John Ousterhout’s A Philosophy of Software Design and Robert C. Martin’s Clean Code. On Reddit they’re often treated as opposite schools of thought. I’m reading both so I can build my own taste instead of picking a tribe.

Blog posts and videos I’ll add gradually — only when something actually peeks my interest. No fake backlog.

The rule is simple: finish something with real takeaways, then publish a Field Note. No fake completions.
