Day 012 · Morning

Morning thoughts and goals before falling back to sleep

I am writing this as the morning starts, before I fall back to sleep. There are three active projects I want to move forward today, and the first one needs a decision more than another round of waiting.

The owner of PrintFetti has been busy with business operations, so the meeting I expected has not happened. I hoped that conversation would clarify the remaining feature questions. At this point, I am going to use my best judgment, finalize the current scope, complete the mobile-responsive pass, and make the walkthrough. I want to hand over something coherent enough that any owner feedback can be focused and manageable instead of reopening the whole project.

I also want to work on Lazy Ass Fitness in the way the product is supposed to be used: while actually working out on a timer. The goal is to create it on the fly during a real session, not design the experience entirely from a desk. If the timer, transitions, controls, or pacing become annoying while I am exercising, that friction is product direction. The workout becomes part of the test instead of something I promise to try later.

The third goal is to finish the modeling website for Vee. I want it to feel artsy and intentional rather than like a generic portfolio template. The immediate finish line is the visual direction and the core modeling-site experience. I also want the ecommerce side planned clearly enough that the future store has a real structure, without pretending the complete commerce build is already done.

These are three different builds, but they share the same theme for today: stop holding the work at the idea or clarification stage. Finish the clearest version that can be finished, use the fitness product in its real context, and leave each project with an obvious next step.

First, though, I need sleep. The plan will still be here when I wake up.
